Why is there so much pain in the world? Why didn’t God simply ensure that humans were always happy—free from envy, doubt, anxiety, and regret? God gave us the capacity to feel these things so that we wouldn’t stand still, so that we would always keep moving forward; so that, before death, we could tell ourselves, "I lived a good and interesting life," and avoid the regret of leaving things undone. This provides the motivation to keep moving and never stop.

I will not die until I achieve something. Even though the ideal is high, I never give in. Therefore, I never die with regrets.

A thought occurred to me: I have lived and thought before, and now I have been reborn. I waited a very long time for this, yet now that the moment has arrived, I don't fully grasp it. It is like those people who died believing that, eventually, technology would advance enough to bring them back to life. If you want to become wealthy and earn a lot—but currently earn little or not enough—you need to reflect and visualize what you would do if you actually had that money. For instance, consider the people or social circles you would interact with, or the activities and pursuits you would engage in. If you realize that certain current interactions don't fit that future lifestyle, you should start limiting those contacts right now. Similarly, if you have addictions or habits—like gambling—that are incompatible with the person you envision becoming, you need to start breaking them immediately. On the other hand, if you already go to the gym and see that as part of your future self, then that’s excellent—keep doing it. If you don't go to the gym but can picture yourself there once you have that wealth, then you need to start going now.
